When passion and culture collide
When passion and culture collide
Welcome to my world. I capture the raw moments when culture, nature, and emotion collide. Explore with me the intimate dance of life’s deepest passions—intense, beautiful, and unfiltered.
I live in the heart of Valletta, Malta, one of Europe’s most enchanting cities. I’m lucky to be constantly surrounded by the rich tapestry of history, culture, and architectural beauty that defines this Mediterranean gem. I often start my mornings with a freshly brewed espresso at the foot of St. John’s Co-Cathedral with its renowned Caravaggio paintings—moments of quiet reflection that inspire my creativity. In the evenings, I walk my dog past the breathtaking Manoel Theatre, a beautiful reminder of Valletta’s vibrant artistic legacy and my own deep connection to this city’s artistic soul.
Digital art offers me a powerful platform for re-imagining and transforming familiar images into new narratives. This allows for a flexible, experimental approach—where images can be deconstructed, altered, and reassembled in ways that challenge initial perceptions. Old becomes new.
This act of re-imagination is an invitation to come see the world through my eyes. Join me on this journey of discovery, where art and design meet culture and human connection.

Vibrations of a city

I approach street photography with the eyes of a curator of reality. One who is surrounded by non stop activity with the task of choosing to capture one moment from a thousand others. With camera in hand, I am invited to contemplate the idea of “nowness”—the fleeting nature of time and our existence within it. Each photograph serves as a snapshot of a specific moment that will never be replicated, embodying both the mundane and the extraordinary in a single frame.By highlighting seemingly trivial details—a passerby’s expression, the interplay of light and shadow, or the juxtaposition of diverse lives in a single frame—we peer fleetingly iinto the lives of others, seeing reflections of ourselves, and recognizing our shared humanity. The transient nature of life. The spontaneous beauty of everyday moments. The wonderful energy of life. Enjoy my captures.

Valletta

Valletta, July 2025
Festa.Banda.MaltaThis project presents an innovative reinterpretation of photographs captured during the vibrant local festa, transformed into compositions that evoke the atmosphere of the celebration. Central to the project is the depiction of members of the local band (il-Banda tar-rahal), the heart and soul of the Village Festa, whose performances animate the community each year as well as the street decorations that are painstakingly set up by local volunteers every year with precision. The raw images of this collection were captured during the Annual Celebrations of the various Feasts in Valletta, Malta, during the summer of 2025. Each piece symbolizes how each element is an integral thread woven into the cultural tapestry of the local church and town tradition.
This project was conceived to breathe new life into images of these dedicated artisans who devote countless hours to ensure the best festive outcome. Their artistry and commitment are celebrated anew, showcasing their contributions to the collective joy and cultural continuity of the local festivities. Festa.Banda.Malta is a visual ode to tradition, resilience, and the enduring power of collective celebration. It invites viewers to reflect on the importance of artistic expression within community life and to recognize that behind every performance and event lie dedicated artisans who enrich the cultural heritage we all cherish. It is the keepers of these traditions that ensure that old stories, rituals, and celebrations are not forgotten. Through their passion and commitment, we can experience unique moments that have been in the making for hundreds of years.

Folds

Inspired by the folds found in nature and everyday life—be it the sweeping contours of hills, the delicate draping of fabric, or the tender curves of flesh —the project aimed to capture the inherent beauty of these natural and organic forms.

Explore a world where form and space are gently sculpted by the recurring motif of folding.
The works embrace smooth, flowing the recurring motif of folding gently sculpts form and spacethat evoke a sense of warmth and harmony shouting a definite NO to sharp edges and straight lines. I feel there is a gentle mystery in folding—an act that transforms, conceals, and reveals in a dance of quiet elegance, offering viewers a sanctuary of softness amid the frenetic energy of the world.
Folds is a tender meditation on the beauty of natural curvature, inviting us to find comfort in the seamless flow of forms that surround us, reminding us that in softness, there is strength, and in curves, there is beauty.
BRASS BAND MOMENTS
Held in a private collection, these images were created to capture street musicians and present them in a vibrant pop art style.
Bold block colours with minimal texture, creating striking visuals where clean, expressive lines blend well with contemporary architecture and interior design.
By stripping away excessive detail and focusing on bold contrasts, these images breathe new life into familiar scenes and challenge viewers to see rhythm in a new, exciting light.
This work celebrates captured moments of age-long traditions and invites the viewers to experience this through a bold contemporary lens.

NATURE'S CALL

The raw, untamed wilderness of Iceland—its wild beauty and relentless wind—raggedly tears through your disbelief, forcing you to accept the impossible as tangible, alive before your very eyes, awakening your soul and realigning you with the true, merciless magic of nature’s unforgiving grace. To stand before nature, to frame it through the lens, and to re-imagine it anew is to transcend mere recording — it is to distil a landscape into mood and emotion, to weave the artist’s inner state with the aura of place and moment, so that what emerges is not just an image, but a living resonance.

REFOCUS

and Rediscover

The Floral Fusion project presents a curated collection of surface patterns conceived for interior design use within a distinguished food establishment. The brief was to embrace a grunge, vintage, and worn aesthetic. These designs transcend traditional notions of floral beauty, instead embodying a sophisticated balance of artistry and rawness—where florals are reimagined through textured layers, muted palettes, and subtle bursts of color. Inspired by the alluring imperfections of time-worn aesthetics, the patterns evoke a sense of relaxed elegance, blending the softness of botanical motifs with the rugged charm of distressed and vintage textures. The colour palette is intentionally subdued, yet punctuated with surprising flashes of vibrant hues—daring to captivate the eye amidst an overall atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and understated style.
